About Us
La Foglia D'Oro
We are a small, family-owned jewelry design firm operating for over 20 years in our hometown of Venice, Italy. My sister and I both studied at the Istituto d'Arte in Venice -- she in goldsmithing and I in architecture and design. A few years later, we started our own business, combining our talents to create a new style of jewelry.
We specialize in original, contemporary forms using sterling silver and local handmade Murano glass beads. "La Foglia d'Oro" is Italian for "The Gold Leaf." This reference both reflects our backgrounds as goldsmiths and the gold leaf that is embedded in many of the glass beads we use, a traditional technique that gives them unique character.
